Duties:

D&D Well Services is currently accepting resumes for Heavy Duty Mechanics; Journeyman & Apprentice.

ThesepPositions are based out of our Fort St. John shop. Our spacious 30,000 square foot shop is equipped with an overhead crane.

Work on a variety of Tractors, Bed trucks, Picker trucks and Trailers.

Duties/responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Check heavy duty trucks and equipment for proper performance and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required.
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems, using hand and power tools.
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications.
  • Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment.
  • The type of trucks that must be repaired are as follows (makes and models): Kenworth, Peterbilt W900, T800, C500.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma.

  • Knowledge of wellhead products and service industry an asset.

  • Valid Class 1,3 or 5 (non GDL) Driver’s License; must be able to provide a current driver’s abstract.
  • Folding Boom Truck Crane – 22 tonnes and under ticketed crane, CraneSafe or equivalent certification an asset.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Duties:

Our Service Technicians are responsible for product installation, field support and maintenance, equipment repair, customer property management and equipment rentals.

Key position functions include:

  • Deliver, assemble, test, and paint wellhead assemblies.
  • Execute field service requirements such as installation and maintenance of wellheads while providing exceptional customer service and representing the Company in a positive manner.
  • Assist with shop and vehicle housekeeping in accordance with Company expectations.
  • Maintain assigned service unit, including tools and spare component requirements.
  • Provide customer property repair as required.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving as required.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Strong commitment to workplace Health and Safety by conducting all operations in a safe manner and following all Company procedures and HSE policies.
  • Regular travel to field site locations is required.
