Duties:

Reporting to the Director, Information Technology, the Lead Information Technology (IT) Analyst is responsible for technical business analysis, network architecture, and network and application server troubleshooting and analysis.

  • The incumbent leads the planning and development of infrastructure and the design of possible solutions; designs and builds proof of concept and feasibility assessment environments; plans, designs and oversees changes to the network and network applications.
  • Assists in the development of policies and standards for all aspects of Information Technology.
  • The Lead IT Analyst is a critical resource for the IT Analysts in providing Tier 2 and Tier 3 support, overall advice and guidance.
  • The position provides technical and project management expertise for multiple, concurrent projects from initialization to completion.
  • The incumbent supports the IT security team as required, conducting assessments and providing ongoing support maintenance for security systems and protocols.

Duties:

Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, the Screening Officer is responsible for ensuring that the traveling public, their personal belongings, and the carry-on baggage and items they have with them are screened before they enter the sterile area of the airport. This will be accomplished by using metal detection equipment, X-ray equipment, and explosive detection equipment, as well as physical search techniques to search baggage, items and personal belongings. As this is a unionized environment, shift assignments are bid by seniority and can be any day of the week (including Saturday, Sunday, and holidays) and starting and ending at any time during the day.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
