Qualifications:
  • The preferred educational qualification is a Master’s Degree in Information Technology with a focus on interactive technologies.  
  • A Master’s Degree in a closely related discipline such as Computer Science or a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with emphasis on information technology would also be considered. 
  • Experience teaching and developing courses at the post-secondary level is preferred. 
  • Preference will also be given to candidates with demonstrable educational or work experience in applying technologies to business solutions and to candidates who can demonstrate forward thinking and innovation in this field. 
  • Relevant technical designations, such as Microsoft certifications, are also an asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational abilities are required.
  • The successful candidate will have a commitment to working effectively as a team member.
Duties:

NLC’s Business Management programs in Fort St John require a permanent, full-time instructor to deliver a wide array of courses for an existing Post-Degree Diploma in Business Management - Information Technology Specialization and a proposed diploma program in Information Technology and Game Design.
