Duties:

The Safety Coordinator has the primary responsibility for coordinating the activities of the Field Safety Advisors teams, who will support the Health Safety Management Plan within all PRHP safety areas, and act as the project’s primary safety representatives. Reporting to the Safety Director, the Safety Coordinator will also communicate with construction teams to deal with health and safety issues that arise and will produce safety reports using information compiled by the Field Safety Advisors.

Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Must be able to demonstrate computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications and an engineering or construction oriented Document Management System.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills and the ability to collaborate within a team environment.
  • Excellent coordination and organizational skills are essential.
  • Must possess the ability to organize, schedule and coordinate own workload to meet established deadlines and milestones.
  • Familiarity with technical documentation including project plans, technical specifications, engineering drawings, design reports, quality records, software, external standards, procedures, work instructions, safety related documentation and construction records is preferred.

Experience/Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ document management experience using a document management system.
  • Familiarity with Aconex an asset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat 9 Professional, Publisher, Visio and Photoshop.
Duties:

The Document Controller organises and maintains project drawings, documentation and related information such as that related to design, procurement, quality, construction, commissioning and operations.
