Qualifications:

Techmation Electric & Controls is currently seeking a Purchaser for our Fort St John location.

  • Candidates must be organized, self-motivated and have excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment is essential and candidates must be proficient with computers.
  • Previous experience with electrical or instrumentation products is an asset, but not required.
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 1 to 2 years experience in purchasing or inside sales within the industrial sector.
Duties:

This Purchaser will be responsible for procurement of electrical and instrumentation material for the Fort St John branch.

Job Title:

Production Employee - Clean-Up

Wages:

The wage for a Production Employee starts at $29.06 per hour based on the Collective Agreement.

Qualifications:
  • Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Available to work shiftwork.
  • Completion of Grade 12/GED AND/OR a minimum of 2 years industrial work experience AND/OR equivalent training (eg. OFA3, grading ticket, trade, etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot.
  • Positive attitude and a self-starter.
  • Able to work in an environment that may include exposure to weather, dust, chemicals, moving mechanical parts, and noise.
  • Preference may be given to those individuals with a Level 3 First Aid ticket AND/OR knowledge of the lumber manufacturing process.
