The QA/QC Supervisor will maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management system related to pipeline and facility construction. This position also ensures adherence to both provincial and federal standards and requirements.

The QA/QC Supervisor responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Implementation and maintaining of Quality Management System.
  • Development of mapping workflows, developing sub-processes as required and identifying opportunities for increasing efficiency.
  • Provide complete and continuous quality direction to Supervisors, personnel and sub-contractors.
  • Assist Superintendents with addressing nonconformities by developing correction and/or corrective action plans and conducting root cause analyses as required.
  • Ensure compliance and regulatory requirements with client specifications and the applicable codes and standards.
  • Develop and implement Inspection and Test Plans.
  • Responsible for verification of mechanical completion and preparation of turnover packages.
  • Witness the qualification of weld procedures and welders as required.
  • Review and Maintain Quality Control Records for accuracy.
  • Coordinate and supervise field QC personnel as required.
  • Coordinate and complete quality functions on site and administer the work package to ensure the proper material qualified personnel and procedures are used on the worksite.
