Duties:

Water Transfer Technician will perform duties related to pumping water including rigging in and rigging out within a safe manner. The technicians will be on active frac sites monitoring tank and C-ring levels and operating pumps to move water either onsite from tank to tank or from an offsite location (i.e. a pond or water corral) to the frac site.

  • Ensure that Fraction’s core value, “We won’t put anyone in harm’s way” is the priority in all activities.
  • Rig in and rig out water transfer/lease operations.
  • Fueling and monitoring fluid levels.
  • Driving to and from site.
  • Operating minor heavy equipment.
  • Vehicle upkeep/cleanliness.

  • Travel is required.

Working Conditions:

  • Outdoor environment including extreme Weather Conditions (hot & cold).

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Counselling Psychology, Social Work or related Degree.
  • Specialized training and experience in delivering trauma informed counselling would be an asset.

  • Provides risk assessments, recommendations and safety planning support regarding the family to assist MCFD in case planning. 
  • Serves as a collaborative member of the Integrated Case Assessment Team in highest risk cases. 
  • Maintains case notes, client records, forms, statistical information and reports as required.
  • Some travel to the communities may be required. This position requires that you use your personal vehicle for travel in the region as needed. Mileage to be reimbursed.
