  • Rental fleet management.
  • Prior experience with batch plant, aggregate plants, conveyors, and underground mining equipment would be considered an asset.
Duties:

Responsibilities

  • Supervises and supports crews to accomplish their daily objectives.
  • Actively participates in daily toolbox/safety meetings.
  • Attends daily production and PTI meetings.
  • Updates policies related to safety and quality standards.
  • Coordinates training for craft employees.
  • Reviews completed work orders for accuracy.
  • Creates and submits Manpower requests.
  • Identifies under-utilized equipment.
  • Reviews SOS sample results, coordinates action plans.
  • Reviews JHAs and FLRAs, updates as necessary.
  • Coordinates NDT, annual lifting equipment inspections, including forks, stingers, man baskets, dump bins, and overhead cranes.
  • Updates and maintains schedule, ensures accurate documentation.
  • Updates, maintains, and enforces inspections, logbook registry and safety legal requirements.
  • Coordinates site access and escorts related to maintenance activities.
  • Identifies and manages warranties, performs and follows up on warranty execution.
  • Performs daily inspection of maintenance area, yard and shop.
  • Reviews in-shop lubricants estimate.
  • Identifies and confirms site equipment requirements.
  • Supports labor relation management and coordination.
  • Reviews and approves craft time sheets and vacation requests.
  • Conducts equipment damage and safety investigations.
  • Performs other support tasks as required.
