  • Experience with remote work sites, logistics, and worker accommodation camps
  • Must have experience using MS Office suite and/or other software in an office environment
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
  • Experience with scheduling assets
  • Experience with travel booking programs (Cirys) is an asset or with the travel industry is an asset
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines
  • Ability to promptly answer support related email, phone calls and other electronic communications
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized
  • Ability to multi task in a fast paced and high-pressure environment
  • Excellent organizational skills with a high attention to detail and problem solving
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; negotiating and conflict resolution skills are an asset
  • Proficient in Internet related applications
  • Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills
  • Must be fully informed and stay abreast of all airline rules and regulations, tariffs and other industry requirements and accurately apply this information when making travel arrangements
  • Work closely with the construction team to process all travel arrangements for employees and subcontractors
  • Travel arrangements may include: air travel – domestic and international, ground transportation, car rental, hotels, as well as camp accommodations
  • Research and provide solutions to issues travelers may encounter, including reacting to emergencies and weather-related concerns
  • Maintain a favorable working relationship with all travelers and travel vendors to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working environment
  • Ensure that each traveler has the necessary travel documentation
  • Demonstrate awareness and commitment to health, community and environmental protection and take action to ensure that unsafe practices or non-compliant behaviors do not occur
  • Preparation of reports, scheduling and clerical functions
  • Manage crisis situations; meeting deadlines which may involve complex scheduling and the use of technical hardware and software
  • Provide daily/monthly camp forecasting reports to the client
  • While on shift, after hours on-call support
  • Other duties as may be assigned
