  • Must be willing to work 2-1 rotation schedule on a camp.

Duties:

Under the general direction of the Permitting and Planning Manager, and with minimum supervision, the successful Permitting and Report Writing Support candidate will act as onsite permitting and report writing support in collaboration with other site representatives.

The Permitting and Report writer will be responsible for tracking and maintaining the Permit Aspect Register and provide report writing support to ensure the Site C Clean Energy Project is in compliance with the environmental approvals (Licenses, permits, authorizations, etc.) and/ or environmental protection plans (EPPs).

  • Working with the Portal and Tunnel Construction Managers, The Senior Tunnel and Portal Engineer will contribute to all civil and structural works associated with all the tunnel and portal construction in the Site C Dam project.

  • They are responsible for planning, liaising with designers, sub-contractors, quantity tracking, and reporting.

  • They will also provide underground construction discipline support to other departments such as Quality, Safety, and Environmental, daily construction reporting, and assist Superintendents with site management.
