  • A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce or similar is preferred.

Duties:

Progress Energy is currently looking for a Materials & Supplier Management Analyst to join their team. This position will be office based in Fort St John, BC and will require travel to various sites on a regular basis. The successful incumbent will report to the Director, Supply Chain Management and will be primarily responsible for administering the physical inventory and cost tracking of all materials held for the company operations.

  • Administer equipment and material order tracking, inventory count and reconciliation.

  • Prepare and administer activities related to inventory disposition and refurbishment.

  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on inventory management processes.

  • Administer company inventory requests, maintain schedules and track all updates and changes.

  • Track all company vehicle assignments, registration and required maintenance records.

  • Perform all site inventory management duties such as; complete physical verification at company and vendor inventory storage sites, maintain and service company inventory yards, oversee all entry/exit of materials from inventory yards and arrange transportation of inventory movement when requested.

  • Coordinate the required preservation activities associated with inventory.
