  • Contractor and truck.
  • Comp and dehy experience required.

  • Must have valid safety tickets (H2S, First Aid).

Job Title:

Math 190 Instructor

Starting Date:

Wages:

$36.24 - $45.17, depending on experience and qualifications as per the BCGEU Faculty Collective Agreement.  Temporary employees receive an additional $0.50/hour in lieu of benefits, 6% vacation pay and 4.2% statutory holiday pay included with each pay.

Qualifications:
  • The preferred educational qualification is a North American Master’s degree in Education along with a teaching degree majoring in Math or alternate combinations of teacher and math education. 
  • Experience teaching in the North American K to 12 system is an asset as is experience teaching at the post-secondary level. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong organizational abilities are required. 
  • The successful candidate(s) will have a commitment to working effectively as a team member.
Duties:

The University Arts and Sciences programming at Northern Lights College offers a wide variety of courses for students interested in working toward certificate or diploma completion at Northern Lights College, or receiving transfer credit at other post-secondary institutions. MATH 190 is a required course in NLC’s education programming.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering MATH 190 from either the Dawson Creek or Fort St. John campus with distance delivery to other campuses by videoconference.
