Qualifications:

The Civil 3D Drafter will have expert proficiency on Civil 3D, Autocad, and Trimble Business Center.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Good teamwork and leadership abilities.
  • Civil 3D experience is a must.
  • Autocad 2D/3D.
  • Trimble Business Center.
  • Experience with preparing and reviewing technical drawings.
  • Excellent communication and written skills.

Experience/ Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in civil construction, working for an EPC or Earthworks company.
  • Completion of a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
  • Surveying background preferred.
  • Experience as drafting checker.
  • Computer skills, including MS Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal are essential.
Duties:

The Civil 3D Drafter will provide experienced and skilled drafting support during the design and construction phases of the Site C project.

Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies used in tunnel slip form construction work.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic systems.
  • Must be able to work with limited supervision.
  • Must have a minimum of 24 months of slip form experience.
  • Must be team player and must be willing to participate in company safety and production requirements.
  • Effective communication skills; must be able to carry out verbal instructions, read labels and signs, report progress or issues to foreman.
  • Have good judgment and ability to make decisions; is responsible and dependable.
  • Ability to lift heavy loads repeatedly through an entire work shift.
  • Requires good manual dexterity.
  • Able to pass any pre-access screening, including a Drug and Alcohol test.
  • Experience with civil construction, earthworks and concrete are all assets.
  • Valid Driver's Licence, CSTS and other safety certifications are assets.
Duties:

The Slip Form Operator is responsible for performing tasks involving physical labor at a tunnel slip form construction project.

  • Operates formwork equipment to build the required structures to the job specifications.
  • Constructs forms, chutes and align form panels for pouring concrete and grout.
  • Accountable for the maintenance and preservation of slip form equipment.

Qualifications:

A major oil and gas company is looking for Field Engineer with experience in optimization and downhole maintenance for their Fort St. John location.

This is not a camp position, this is a Home Every Night, and candidates must be local to the Fort St. John area.

  • The successful candidate must have a technical background and related experience in the optimization of wells.
  • Must have related experience in working with plunger lifts, fluid levels, optimization of wells.
  • Must have technical background – preferably EIT or engineering.
  • A disciplined work ethic and ability to take initiative.
  • Capable of working in both team and individual environment.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
  • Valid Safety Tickets (First Aid, H2S).

Conditions of employment include:

  • Drug & Alcohol Test – Negative Results.
  • Driver's Abstract – Satisfactory Results.
Duties:

This position will work closely with production engineers and area foreman to meet production targets as well as monitor volumes for both oil and gas properties.
