PSYC 101 - Introduction to Psychology I is offered in the Winter 2018 semester (January to May).  This contract consists of 3.0 delivery hours per week plus an additional 3.0 preparation hours per week.

Wages:

$36.24 - $45.17, depending on experience and qualifications as per the BCGEU Faculty Collective Agreement.  Temporary employees receive an additional $0.50/hour in lieu of benefits, 6% vacation pay and 4.2% statutory holiday pay included with each pay.

Qualifications:
  • The preferred educational qualification is a Master’s degree in Psychology or a closely related discipline. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational abilities are required. 
  • The successful candidate(s) will have a commitment to working effectively as a team member. 
  • Teaching experience at the post-secondary level is an asset.
Duties:

The University Arts and Sciences programming at Northern Lights College offers a wide variety of courses for students interested in working toward certificate or diploma completion at Northern Lights College, or receiving transfer credit at other post-secondary institutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering PSYC 101 - Introduction to Psychology I on the Fort St John campus.
