Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of Total Quality Management and Methodologies.

  • Knowledge of ISO 9000.

  • Exceptional communication skills.

  • Proficient at report writing, reviewing, and interpretation of results.

  • Competency with MS Excel, MS Word.

  • Ability to work either dayshift/nightshift, alone or with team.

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

  • Ability to work with team.

  • Ability to effectively and efficiently problem-solve and tackle testing issues.

  • Able to handle multi-tasking and maintain focus in a busy work place.

  • Able to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in an Applied Science or Engineering Field.

  • Minimum 5 years of related experience in a Lead Quality and Environment Roles, in Civil, Hydro, or Heavy Industrial construction projects.

  • Valid Drivers License.

Duties:

Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Lead Quality Control Inspector is primarily responsible for making sure the technical specifications, drawings and project requirements are met by conducting inspections of the assigned work and documenting the process and inspecting materials, including material properties, handling and storage.
