Duties:

The HR Assistant is a key member of the Canfor Pulp Human Resources Group who plays a major role in a progressive team, providing HR services to employees at our Taylor operation.

Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Assistant is responsible for processing accurate information that will support the management team. This position requires well established organizational skills, a high level of motivation and energy, excellent communication skills and a desire to work in a fast paced team environment.

Canfor is currently looking for a strong leader with proven experience in industrial maintenance to join our team as a Maintenance Supervisor.

Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, the Maintenance Supervisor is a key member of the Maintenance Team and, as such, is responsible for the supervision of maintenance crews and to ensure work is performed without undue risk. The focus of this role, will be on coaching/developing employees to achieve cost effective results in accordance with safety procedures, as well as constructively directing them to optimize their performance. Another key part of this role will be to plan out the daily, weekly and monthly maintenance work functions.
