Manager of Fundraising & Events

Remuneration negotiable based on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications:

This role has a strong focus on fundraising, event planning/coordination and operations for the foundation.

  • Highly motivated.
  • Organzied.
  • Goal oriented with strong computer skills including: MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher and Power Point.
  • Backround in charitable/volunteer work an asset.
Duties:
  • Able to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual goals.
  • Representing the foundation inside and outside of the hospital.
  • Coresponding with Northern Health Executives and Employees.
  • Corresponding with media and public.
  • Promoting the existing bi-weekly 50/50 draw.
  • Managing the foundation office.
  • Recuiting new donors.
  • Liaising with current donors.
  • Writing funding proposals and seeking out new events & funding opportunities.
  • Assisting third parties with their event planning, whereas the foundation is the event beneficiary.
  • Orchestrating and improving on already established foundation events
