Qualifications:

  • Possess a valid certificate of qualification issued by the appropriate province or federal authority.

  • Previous experience working within the oilfield construction industry.

  • H2S Alive, WHMIS, CSTS, Picker truck certification, and Standard First Aid.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Duties:

Our pipefitters possess the full range of knowledge required to lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems, pipe supports and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for oil, steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling and industrial production and processing systems.

  • Read and interpret red-line construction drawings and blueprints (Isometrics, P&ID's, etc.)

  • Mentor and provide guidance for junior staff.

  • Assemble piping and valves in module and compressor package.

  • Hydrotest, assemble and install pipe spools in the fabrication facility.

  • Measure, cut, and thread pipe to required shape.

  • Install supports, valves, piping and control systems.

  • Remove and replace worn components and reactivate system.

Duties:

Strike's Junior Cost Controllers provide administrative project management support. They are responsible for assisting with cost activities on construction projects of all sizes. The Junior Cost Controller analyzes and forecasts project costs and provides detailed project information related to contractual schedule, scope and cost, recommending improvements or corrective actions for the project.

  • Understand full project scope and reference documents, including contracts, reports, and drawings.

  • Provide cost management, maintenance, and reporting.

  • Support site managers and supervisors in interpreting contracts and schedules.

  • Maintain document controls such as RFIs, scope changes, trends, drawings, etc.

  • Log and track all Change Orders and Trends.

  • Maintain logs for material requisitions, purchase orders, construction equipment owner/leased and rented, fuel, scope changes, trends, document transmittals, etc.

Duties:

The project manager provides the leadership, resource management, stewardship and commercial and execution management associated for major or multiple small-to-medium sized projects. Responsibilities include: Owner/Operator leadership engagements/visits, estimation, contract review, risk management (scope, quality, safety, schedule and cost).
