Qualifications:
  • Diploma/Bachelor Degree specializing in Information Technology and/or equivalent combination of training and experience in the field of information management, preferably in a financial institution/credit union.
  • Require a minimum of one year’s experience in a complex work environment.
  • Possess a solid knowledge of networking, strong trouble shooting skills over a network environment; exposure to operating systems, network and communication services/standards.
  • Demonstrated leadership, excellent communication style both written and verbal, desire to participate in and build teams, and a passion for continuous learning are essential.
  • Ability to address multiple tasks under pressure and effective analytical and logical reasoning skills.
  • Drivers License.

Duties:

Under general executive direction, is accountable for optimizing Lake View Credit Union’s opportunities in the utilization of technology and information in developing systems; to enhance and effectively respond to the diverse and changing needs of the membership and the organization.

  • To ensure all electronic information is properly backed up, and kept secure at all times.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of technology; and risk management policies and procedures to ensure the security of the information.
  • Researches and produces written business cases to justify the purchase of new and replacement technology for approval by the CEO; or to be presented to the Board of Directors for approval.
  • Actively participates in management meetings and planning sessions to ensure that technology properly supports the operational goals and objectives of the organization.
