Wages:

Classification 5 ($20.19 - $20.82 per hour), as per BCGEU Support Collective Agreement. Temporary employees also receive an additional $0.50/hr. in lieu of benefits, as well as having 6% vacation pay paid out with each pay.

Qualifications:
  • Completion of Grade 12. 
  • Experience invigilating in a post-secondary education setting an asset. 
  • Ability to invigilate all exams strictly adhering to guidelines, maintaining confidentiality and the security of all tests, and completion of necessary documentation for all tests. 
  • Strong Microsoft Outlook skills and the ability to learn databases is essential.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as strong record keeping and organizational skills.
Duties:
  • To assist in invigilation of a variety of exams on the Dawson Creek campus. 
  • Will include marking/grading CAAT exams, executing exam requirements from the examining institution and following invigilation protocol for NLC exams.
  • The individual will also invigilate exams where the exam is read to the student or scribed for the student. 
  • Will use the colleges database Colleague to enter scores from internal assessments.
