Our client, a major oil and gas producer, is looking for Senior Plant or Start-up and Commissioning Operators to assist with a Sweet Gas Plant Start Up near Dawson Creek, BC for the next 2-3 months. Successful candidates will be working in a 400 mmscfd gas plant consisting of a single plant with inlet separation, electric driven inlet and sales gas compression, low temperature mechanical refrigeration, tankage, and all utilities necessary to provide a safe and reliable operating gas plant. Two (2) 200 mmscfd processing trains will be used to achieve the 400 mmscfd inlet capacity.

  • You must be set up as an independent contractor. However, a truck and tools is not required.

We are looking for the following experience and education:

  • Senior Operator -- 10 plus years oil and gas operations experience; CSU experience and power engineering preferred.

Skills Requirement

  • MUST have 10 + years Plant Operating experience.

  • Experience commissioning new equipment an asset.

  • Must be able to work with no or little supervision.

  • Valid First Aid, H2S, PST or CSTS safety tickets.

  • Capable of passing pre-employment drug & alcohol test.

  • Prepare students for festivals, competitions, and year-end recitals.

  • In collaboration with the Program Manager, coordinate performance and practice schedules for the year end, including the Festival of the Arts, the Honours Concert and the year end recitals including rehearsals.

  • Act as a liaison between Unchagah Hall and KPAC.

  • Collect all necessary information from dance teachers in regards to music, costuming and lighting.

  • Leading up to and during the South Peace Festival of the Arts, along with the Festival Coordinator, complete Festival duties which include but are not limited to:

    1. Prep and transport of ballet costumes to and from KPAC to Unchagah with the assistance of available instructors. Label which costume belongs to whom, and group costumes together.

    2. Put together "emergency dance kits".

    3. Put together supplies and activities to keep students occupied in Music Room during performances.

    4. Put all music in decided "Order of Appearance" for each year end on KPAC laptop.

    5. Create Check-In lists for each dress rehearsal and year end performance.

  • Confirm with all Dance Instructors their availability and class preference for future terms.

  • Demonstrate professionalism and adherence to KPAC policy.

  • Mentor other Dance Instructors on classroom management skills, general teaching materials and class structure.

  • Complete any other duties as assigned/necessary.

  • Be professional, courteous, and punctual, while always representing KPAC in a positive and friendly manner.
