Qualifications:
  • Previous labouring experience on a pipeline project is an asset but not necessarily required.
  • Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing.
  • Must be willing and able to obtain valid PCST (Pipeline Construction Safety Training), Professional Driver Improvement Training and Ground Disturbance Lvl 2 certificates. Training provided.
  • Must possess a valid form of government issued photo identification.
  • Willing to provide a valid driver abstract.

Work Conditions

  • Must be willing to move as project progresses.
  • Additional overtime may be required based on project schedule.
  • Extended benefits provided by Christian Labour Association of Canada.
  • Work will be primarily outdoors in rough terrain and under extreme weather conditions.
Duties:
  • Perform manual labour tasks on various phase of pipeline construction.
  • Provide general clean up and ongoing monitoring and maintenance of work area.
  • Conduct ground work including shoveling, pumping water, fence construction, rock/root picking, pipeline skid placement and cleanup, etc.
  • Act as a spotter for heavy equipment.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

Equipment Operators

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience operating excavators and other heavy equipment on a mainline pipeline job or similar experience.
  • Previous experience performing daily service and preventative maintenance on dozer equipment.
  • Must have demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing.
  • Must be willing and able to obtain valid PCST (Pipeline Construction Safety Training), Professional Driver Improvement Training and Ground Disturbance Lvl 2 certificates. Training provided.
  • Must possess a valid form of government issued photo identification.
  • Willing to provide a valid driver abstract.

  • Fill out and understand an equipment log book.
  • Perform daily service and preventative maintenance on dozer equipment.
  • Operate equipment in a safe manner.
  • May perform other related duties as assigned.
