Job Title: Certifications Standards Officer

Wages: Salary: $55,146.26 - $62,850.17 annually
Qualifications: Qualifications for this role include:
  • Graduation from an approved technical institute with a diploma in resource or forest management and three years of current (gained in last five years) experience in technical forest management and field operations (timber harvesting, silviculture or engineering) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Applicants must be registered or immediately eligible for registration with the Association of British Columbia Forest Professionals (ABCFP) as a Registered Forest Technologist or equivalent.
  • Prefer experience with Environmental Management, Sustainable Forest Management and Safety Certification Systems currently used in BC.
  • Prefer experience with auditing forest management activities and processes.
  • Valid BC Drivers License.
Duties: Currently there is one temporary position available in Williams Lake. Quesnel may be considered based on operational requirements.
