Duties: The Service Coordinator reports directly to the Service Manager. This position is responsible for the coordination of service requests and acts as a liaison with Sales and Operations.


  • Coordinates technical and logistic support for Operators and Supervisors.
  • Creates schedule, specific requirements for equipment, people and materials.
  • Review proposals submitted by Technical Sales Support group to ensure accuracy.
  • Consult with Operations Manager on non-routine work requests.
  • Prepare job package for Operators and Supervisors.
  • Responsible for the auditing of FIRE tickets.
  • Participate in HSE and Quality initiatives and programs.
  • Serves as the initial point of contact for Operators and Supervisors.
  • Serves as on call representative on a rotational basis with Service Manager.
  • Ensure that all Health, Safety, and Environment training is current and recorded for Operators and Supervisors.
  • Back up support for Service Manager during vacation.

Duties: Techmation Electric & Controls is searching for a Project Control Specialist for our Fort St John branch.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Understand the complete scope of work, including direct and indirect costs, labour and material, execution plan and project estimate.
  • Support the project manager with progress reporting including scheduling updates, completion forecast, discrepancy identification, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide project controls management including baseline schedule development and management, performance status reports, baseline change control, risk management, and earned value management guidance.
  • Create and maintain analytical and cost tracking tools using Excel.
  • Prepare and maintain project schedule using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
  • Validate financial records associated with assigned projects.
  • Analyze project cost overruns and present to management in a comprehensive, complete, and timely fashion.
