  • H2S Certification.

Duties: Water Transfer Technicians will perform duties related to transferring water, including rigging in and rigging out. We operate trailer-mounted, diesel powered pumps to move water through 8 - 10 inch lay flat hose and/or poly pipe. This water is used mainly for fracturing operations. The workers will be on active frac lease sites monitoring tank and C-ring levels and operating pumps to move water either onsite from C-ring to tank or from a source offsite (i.e. pit, river or lake) to the frac site.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

  • Drive light duty vehicles to and from locations.
  • Rig in/out all equipment (i.e. spotting pumps, laying out hoses, pipes, manifolds, filter units and making leak proof connections, pigging out lines).
  • Perform day-to-day servicing, minor maintenance and inspection on equipment.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures and core values.
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time (i.e. log books, TDG documentation, service sheets, vehicle/trailer inspections, fuel logs etc. as required).

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Exposure to outdoor environment, including extreme weather and driving conditions.
  • Physically demanding - bending, sitting and standing for long periods of time.
  • Heavy lifting may be required.
  • Exposure to noise and fumes.
  • Work schedules are variable and may require work away from home for extended periods.

Duties: As a Fluid Transport Driver, you will report to the Area General Manager and be responsible for safely loading, unloading and hauling a variety of fluids, including fresh and produced water, flow-back, crude, emulsions, acid, chemicals and flammables.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

  • Load and transfer various fluids from one location to another.
  • Understand and abide by NSC, federal and provincial laws and regulations.
  • Perform day-to-day servicing, minor maintenance and inspections on equipment.
