Duties: Encana's Northern Operating Area has an exciting opportunity for a qualified Planner/Scheduler. The position will be based out of Dawson Creek and will include travel to other field locations and offices within the Northern Operating Area.

The successful candidate will be a personable, team-oriented professional scheduler, with a "can-do" attitude, a demonstrated track record of maintenance and asset management with experience from the producing-company side of the oil & gas industry.

Responsibilities

  • Guide and optimize the standardized scheduling and planning procedures.
  • Analyze and prioritize work orders using scheduling criteria and input from stakeholders to create a maintenance schedule covering a two-week time period.
  • Host a weekly scheduling meeting with stakeholders to review the schedule and adjust as necessary to gain commitment from maintenance and operations.
  • Facilitate the management of all maintenance work orders using a defined workflow in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Host weekly backlog review meetings, analyzing and highlighting work orders that are out of "normal" conditions for Encana's business processes.
  • Provide CMMS reporting services to all stakeholders.
  • Provide detailed schedule compliance reporting services.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to create and manage a high level "Integrated" schedule for the year.
  • Assist in the management of the preventative maintenance program at Encana, ensuring preventative maintenance frequencies, job plans, meter readings etc. are correct and as efficient as possible.
  • Be the first point of contact for CMMS questions on functionality and general usage for all users in the area.
