Duties: The project manager provides the leadership, resource management, stewardship and commercial and execution management associated for major or multiple small-to-medium sized projects. Responsibilities include: Owner/Operator leadership engagements/visits, estimation, contract review, risk management (scope, quality, safety, schedule and cost).

This position will be expected to travel between our Dawson Creek and Grande Prairie business units.


  • Grow Dawson Creek Operations as well as the Field Operations and Pipeline Service Line in the Grande Prairie Region.
  • Ensure the effective execution and fiscal management of jobs/scopes within the division.
  • Risk Manage: Scope, Cost, Schedule, Safety.
  • Direct and coordinate multiple projects and groups in assigned field sites.
  • Integrate fabrication and site production scopes.
  • Direct safe, quality and productive fabrication.
  • Ensure compliance to the Strike Quality Program and to the Strike HSE Program.
  • Ensure effective fiscal management, and attainment of fiscal targets, safety targets, A/R targets.
  • Mentor and Coach subordinates.
  • Train, supervise, and evaluate project staff.
  • Lead team and guide professional development.
  • Support area office in field-related accounting processes including time tickets and invoices, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Participate in the annual budget process.
