Qualifications: We are currently seeking a Travel and Camp Coordinator for a site based opportunity in Dawson Creek.

To be Considered Candidates: Must reside in Dawson Creek, BC

Duties: The Travel/Camp Coordinator reports directly to the Camp/Flight Lead and is responsible for all administrative functions which support the Camp/Flight Lead with minimum supervision.
  • Works closely with the Camp/Flight Lead handling any and all administrative responsibilities as assigned.
  • Primary interface for our client.
  • Required to be on call until 9pm on FIFO travel days to provide coordination support for after hours issues.
  • Oversee all subcontractor travel coordinators. Act as primary point of contact and subject matter expert.
  • Coordination of rotational travel for CMT staff (including flights and accommodations).
  • Maintenance of CMT staff roster to track all travel related bookings.
  • Review of reservations for accuracy and completeness.
  • Generate reports on subcontractor forecast vs. actual utilization of lodging and flights.
  • Administrate and submit lodging and aviation forecasts. Collate subcontractor forecasts into master forecast for submission.
  • Maintain logs for all travel booked and Business Travel Authorizations.
  • Booking and purchasing of international / domestic commercial flight tickets.
  • Hotel reservations in accordance with company standards to support employees’ requirements.
  • Develop schedules and documentation to communicate travel arrangements and requirements to our client and subcontractor personnel.
  • Develops and maintains templates to streamline camp and travel activities.
  • Organization of employees meeting at the airport.
  • Preparation and processing of written request on transport arrangement off site.
  • Daily keeping and updating of travel log based on R & R request.
  • Provision all relevant information and formats needed for Project reporting.
  • Coordinate ticket purchases and revisions with local travel agencies and Travel offices in Calgary.
  • Daily interaction with the client, as primary point of contact, ensuring service levels were maintained or exceeded.
  • Timely reporting to the Camp/Flight Lead on all camp and services related issues impacting the construction workforce.
  • Compile and provide other reports as required by SWS Manager.
