Work schedule will be Monday-Thursday, 10 hours per day plus
Work Location: Chetwynd, BC
- University degree in
mechanical engineering discipline.
Engineering designation registration with APEGBC.
- Field based engineering
experience with piping, pressure vessels, boilers,
rotating equipment, and pipelines.
- 10-15 years related
- Good knowledge of
relevant codes and standards (e.g. CSA, API, ASME).
- Excellent personal
management capability, including time and priority
management, organization, and accountability.
- Strong interpersonal
and communication skills.
proficiency with computer applications.
- Experience applying
root cause failure analysis, hazard analysis, and risk
- Valid Drivers License.
- Valid H2S Alive and
- Previous experience in
the natural gas processing and sulphur recovery within a
related technical field.
- Good leadership and
team building skills utilizing collaborative methods.
- Experience with federal
and provincial regulations, applicable to gas processing
- Work location is near Chetwynd, BC.
- Transportation will be
provided from Chetwynd to Plant and back to Chetwynd.

matter expert input.
- Deliver engineering
governance and support accountabilities for major
maintenance functions including facility maintenance
shutdown ('turnaround') and large equipment overhauls.
- Provide accountability
for facility engineering issues and ensure resolution by
levering resources that may include in-house technical
staff and/or consultants or contractors.
- Ensure codes,
regulations, and company and professional engineering
requirements, practices, and standards are adhered to
and consistently applied.
- Foster win-win
relationships with management teams, functional groups,
operations personnel, project team members, key
stakeholders and contractors.

status, and actions through established reporting
