Pathway Community Services Ltd. has already proven successful in developing and maintaining residences for youth and young adults with FASD and a range of complex neurobehavioral and mental health disorders, including persuasive development disorder, autism, psychotic behavior, mental handicaps, multiple offence histories including crimes related to violence and a variety of other backgrounds that could be considered detrimental to long term residential stability.

Potential Jobs

Senior Residential Worker: The successful candidate will manage and oversee the general operation of a five-bed residential program in Dawson Creek, BC.  The House Residential Manager provides leadership in supporting people who are served by PCSL and their families, and is responsible for coordinating and monitoring full-care quality service delivery to the residents.

Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in human services, health care or a related discipline.  Extensive experience working with young adults with visible and non-visible disabilities, a minimum of 3 years documented experience working directly with individuals with all intellectual/complex mental health disorders and/or visible and non-visible disabilities is strongly desired.  A combination of education and experience will be considered.

This position requires the successful candidate to manage and oversee the general operation of the residence including documentation, budgets and schedules; act as a liaison with MCFD and other professionals involved in the house individuals Care Team; adhere, follow, communicate and ensure company policies and procedures in the daily house operation; be directly involved in the individuals day to day routines; and to fulfill the duties and responsibilities as established by the Ministry for Children and Families and accredited Social Service Agency.

The successful candidate will possess the ability to enter observational daily reports, monthly assessment reports, contact logs and financial reporting in the approved reporting templates.  All client specific data is documented on a Secure Intranet site.  Proficiency in computer use and the English language is a requirement as well as a clean Criminal Record check, driver's license, driver's abstract and a current TB test.


24 hrs Live-in Position and/or Overnight Shifts: Applicants must be willing to work weekend shifts.
