Pouce Coupe is the oldest municipality in
the Peace River region having incorporated in 1932.
Itís a quiet little community that sits
overlooking the Pouce Coupe River surrounded by rolling hills and crop laden
fields. Pouce Coupe sits on Highway 2, 10 km (6.2 mi.) from Dawson Creek and
approximately 35 km (22 mi.) from the Alberta border.
Pouce Coupe has a population
of 738 (2011 Census). According to BC Stats, the population
was estimated at 800 (in 2012).
